I am an independent musician and visual artist who expresses states of mind and ideas through symbols and text. Now I’m doing paintings and posters in two ongoing series — Mappa Mundi and The Black Series.
Artist’s statement
To be completely honest, I can’t stand all this sophisticated nonsense about art. I genuinely cannot imagine that people watch art with their busy minds, not with their hearts, using intuition. Art didn't mean to be all described and explained. I provide some brief general descriptions of a certain series, but nothing more. So, the only thing I want to say about me as an artist is this.
I do use symbols, and I make them utterly unconscious. Of course, when they’ve already appeared, I have some understanding of what they mean to me. But it is up to you to look at my paintings and find something that resonates with your soul in a way I cannot even imagine. Because when you saw a painting, or a poster, or whatever it is, it became yours, not mine anymore.
So, let me show you my work, but this time without words.
